Ushchi are things made from the mind. They are described in the stories of Alla Gorbunova, the author of miniatures where everyday life and metaphysics coexist. Director Kirill Lukievich creates a chronicle of urban outskirts on stage and explores the human universe in the format of an installation interactive game. The actors distance themselves from their characters, which are embodied on stage by small toy figures of city dwellers. Their lives are captured by a handheld camera, with the image displayed on a large screen, allowing the audience to follow how the object theater is born - a story about anxieties, fears, joys, and aspirations that everyone will understand.
