The multimedia performance has moved from the Bashmet Center to the stage of the "Master Workshop". This story reveals new, unknown moments from the biography of the famous adventure lover. It sounds incredible, but Baron Munchausen is not a fictional character, but a real person. However, this is not the same Munchausen who rode on a half-horse, pulled himself out of a swamp by his hair, and flew on a cannonball. The real person's name was Hieronymus Karl Friedrich von Munchausen, and he called himself a Russian rotmistr. His life was filled with many amazing adventures, but none of them made it into his completely fabricated, yet so captivating stories known all over the world. The audience of the performance will hear real stories from the hero's life that were important to him, but he never shared them with his friends, preferring to invent tall tales while comfortably settled in his hunting lodge. The stories of the baron will be told by Karen Badalov, an artist from the Moscow theater "Master Workshop P. N. Fomenko", and he will be assisted by bright and vivid animation. Of course, there will be wonders, but these will be the most genuine wonders, as Munchausen is the most truthful person in the world. Modern technologies and live music by Vyacheslav Akhmetzyanov will complement the monologue performance. Transforming scenery, digital projections, a trio of guitar, cello, and clarinet will give the production a special color. You can find even more performances on our website in the theater section.
