A fairy tale with Chinese motifs in a Venetian setting. For the authors of this project - director Boris Konstantinov and artist Viktor Antonov - it was important not just to refer to the text of Carlo Gozzi, adapting the plot of his work into a puppet show. It was important to attempt to create, through imagination, a unique artistic space full of magic. As a result, a simultaneously romantic and passionate, loving and heroic parable was created, where the beauty of Venetian landscapes merges with Eastern restraint and composure.
