An anti-epic about Tristan in the format of extreme comic-clowning by director Philip Shkaev. The young director offers a rethinking of the legend of Tristan and Isolde. The story of the knight who defeated the dragon but fell victim to tragic love has survived an enormous number of versions and interpretations to date, all of which differ in their well-known pathos. Philip Shkaev decided to look at Tristan's feats from a new angle - ironic and partly revealing. What heroic deeds did Tristan accomplish, what is wrong with the love potion, and where did all this mythology come from? The director invites the audience to ponder these questions.
