The poem by Vasily Tvardovsky directed by Fyodor Malyshev is a story about people living in war. Fyodor Malyshev staged "Törkin" not as it is often imagined. The poem, which is usually considered a work for children and schoolchildren, reveals on stage almost a biblical scale, while not losing humor and simplicity. Törkin here is every soldier, young and old, bald and bearded. Each of them is a martyr and a savior, each deserves to be a hero of the poem. At the same time, the production turned out to be very concise, with almost no decorations on stage, but a lot of action, and the piercing images are aimed straight at the heart of the viewer. The artistic design was created by Evgenia Shutina. The music for the performance was written by Rafkat Badretdinov, and the choreographer is Vitaly Dovgalyuk.
