Galina Zaltsman presents a play inspired by the works of Kusturica on the Simonov stage of the theatre. The play is based on an original script created on commission from the Vakhtangov Theatre. The script draws on motifs from the works of Serbian filmmaker, screenwriter, and musician Emir Kusturica. The title of the play coincides with the title of Kusturica's collection of stories written in 2014. This collection contains stories, both comic and tragic, in which the author reflects on the fate of his homeland, on growing up, and on the clash between a child's view of the world and the harsh world of adults.
