The play based on the work of William Shakespeare is presented by director Ivan Popovski. To bring it to the stage, the director chose Shakespeare's play in the translation by Osia Soroka, which is not considered classical. The artistic design of the performance was done by Ivan Popovski and Konstantin Lebedev, with costumes created by Angelina Atlagich. Director Ivan Popovski, a native of Macedonia, came to Russia as a student, studied at the workshop of Peter Fomenko at GITIS, and in his second year became a celebrity thanks to his production based on a play by Marina Tsvetaeva, which was named the best capital performance of the year in 1991. Ivan Popovski has directed performances in the USA, France, and Macedonia, participated in the theatrical project of Austria and Sweden "Hotel Europe." In addition to dramatic performances, the director has staged several operas - masterpieces by Verdi, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Mussorgsky. Popovski collaborates fruitfully with the Moscow Theater of Music and Poetry of Elena Kamburova. His production "Times... Years..." at this theater brought its creator the "Crystal Turandot" award.
