Directed by Yuri Butusov - an interpretation of the play by contemporary Norwegian playwright, prose writer, and poet Jon Fosse. Jon Fosse, referred to by his contemporaries as the "new Ibsen," can undoubtedly be called one of the brightest representatives of the modern Scandinavian dramatic school. Realism on the edge of dreamlike escapism, ordinary stories that, at first glance, are written in several dimensions - the texture of Fosse's works is close to the staging style of Yuri Butusov, who continues his experiments in search of new theatrical forms. "Dream of Autumn" is a story about attempts to regain love interrupted at the start. Years later, the couple meets again. She is still alone, he has acquired "ballast": a wife, children, and rules of propriety prevent him from being free in his feelings. To find happiness and freedom, they must seek a way out of the sad reality in which they become hostages of past, erroneous decisions - and escape into the unreal world of dreams and fantasies, replaying their fate anew.
