The premiere of the children's play "Snowflake" at the very beginning of December 2013 marked the start of the new chamber stage of the Big Puppet Theater. Today, audiences can enjoy this fifty-minute story about an unusual little heroine on the main stage. Director Yana Tumina decided to stage a true fairy tale based on the work of her favorite children's writer Vitaute Zhilinskayte titled "The Snowflake That Didn't Melt." In this fairy tale, anything is possible: there is snow made up of a mass of crystals, one of which decided to embark on a journey from the sky to the earth to find out how everything is arranged there. The snowflake dreamed of adventures and meeting new friends, but her journey will not only be joyful - her time on earth may bring bitterness, disappointment, and shattered illusions. Courage, bravery, curiosity, and a thirst for knowledge of the unknown are the qualities that brought the snowflake to the earth. Difficulties will not scare the little traveler. But what awaits her at the end of the journey? And how will she explore the new world, young viewers will see for themselves.
