A fantasy performance for the whole family based on Pushkin's tale of the same name will be shown at the concert hall "At Finlandsky". The tale told by Pushkin is about good and love. Light always triumphs over darkness, love performs miracles, and evil, no matter how cunning it may be, inevitably brings punishment. The tale is narrated on stage by the sea waves. They also transport the heroes from a simple hut to the royal palace, and then to the uninhabited island of Buyan. Like magic, the waves create a wonderful world that ultimately dissipates like the mysterious city of Kitezh. Thus, any fantasy dissipates, but its beauty remains in the soul for a long time. The audience of the performance can expect magical transformations, wonders, songs, and dances. Pushkin's poetic text intertwines with plastic scenes that reveal its meanings.
