A play by Yegor Peregudov about the poetic perception of the world, about moral rules and a code of honor in a world where justice and truth are collapsing. Of all the characters in Edmond Rostand's play, only seven remain in the performance. At the same time, new characters have appeared: musicians and poets singing fierce songs, and even Cyrano's inner world. The audience will see many fencing duels, as the heroes of the play are used to solving problems with swords. But even in the 21st century, fencing has not disappeared. For example, communication in social media comments is nothing but an exchange of jabs-insults, accusations, and provocations. But while in Cyrano's world there exists a code of honor to which the characters adhere, in our world there is no such code, meaning anything goes.
