A stage adaptation of Michel Houellebecq's novel, one of the most discussed European writers of our time. The main character, Parisian business consultant Florent Labrouste, feels stuck. Despite a prosperous life, nothing brings him happiness: neither the exotic girl Yuzu, nor work, nor a comfortable life in a prestigious area of the capital. Florent decides to leave everything behind, say goodbye to his present, and head towards his past, where his first love from youth remains, philosophical debates with a university friend, and the freshness of each day of life. In other words, to where the brain will produce serotonin - a substance necessary for the feeling of happiness. But can Florent, the hero of our time, be happy without doping? And how will this game of imagination, spiced with antidepressants, end? Director Andrey Prikotenko has created an eccentric and poetic play filled with emotions and experiences. The role of the main character, the wanderer of our time, is played by Ivan Volkov - not only an actor and laureate of the "Golden Mask", but also a talented composer.
