Garik Sukachyov adapted the novel by Alexandra Nikolaenko "To Kill Bobrykin." A phantasmagorical story of the autistic Sasha Shishin - a first-person narrative that contains almost no dialogue. The main character lives under the strict supervision of his mother, is in love with Tanya, and hates a boy with the last name Bobrykin. The book intertwines the past and present, and the action unfolds non-linearly. The play lives its own life, separate from the novel. The lyrical line it sought to highlight is almost absent in the novel. The play does not illustrate the novel but relates to it much like the film "Stalker" relates to the Strugatsky's novella "Roadside Picnic."
