Three brides arrive at the groom at the same time, and he wants to escape from Moscow to the village. How to deal with this situation, and will the wedding take place, is what the audience will discover in the play based on Alexander Galin's work. The action takes place in the 1980s. Elderly Nikolai Mikhailovich lives in Moscow with his daughter and son-in-law, having moved there at the insistence of his relatives, but dreams of returning to the village. Marrying him off to a well-off Muscovite is a great plan. And now three contenders have formed, each better than the other: a former ballerina, a night watchman, and a nurse. The only problem is that the groom does not want to get married. The events in the play unfold in a different era, yet the questions raised here are always relevant: family relationships, fear of loneliness, the thirst for support and understanding.
