This year, the audience can look forward to the premiere of the play "Decay of an Atom" - a deeply personal and poignant story dedicated to the life and work of composer Herman Galinin. Galinin is an almost mythical figure. His fate is a journey from a homeless boy from a Tula orphanage to a Stalin Prize laureate and a student of Dmitri Shostakovich. He lived a short but bright life, leaving behind music full of inner light and strength. Illness robbed him of his future, but did not take away his talent - even when confined to a hospital bed, he continued to compose, as if defying time itself. Director and lead actor Dmitry Serdyuk created a production in which the stage becomes a living screen of memory. The music of Herman Galinin will be performed by the Orpheus Radio Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Sergey Kondrashev, accompanied by documentary fragments, video, and original words.
