A magical puppet trilogy based on the prose of Russian authors - Chekhov, Pogorelsky, and Panteleev. Once upon a time in our beloved city on Vasilyevsky Island, there lived an ordinary boy. Although, perhaps, not so ordinary. The thing is, this boy had a honest word. He gave it to his father, then to a friend, and eventually to himself. The creators of the play were inspired by Chekhov's story "At Home", Pogorelsky's fairy tale "The Black Hen, or Underground Dwellers", and the story "A Honest Word" by Soviet writer Panteleev. Young viewers will embark on a journey through time and learn that throughout all times, important concepts such as honor, integrity, and loyalty have existed. And today they are no less important. The set design for the play was created by one of the leading Russian theater artists, Emil Kapelyush. The play is recommended for viewers aged 8 and older.
