About

Producer Dmitry Bogachev's company "Broadway Moscow" invites you back behind the scenes of the theater, where the impossible becomes reality: riding the wave of success from the superhit show "Mamma Mia!", it was decided to create a sequel. "The Phantom of the Musical" is a sparkling comedy where everything goes off-script, but that’s what makes the story so captivating. This time, the charismatic characters-the cast and management of a provincial theater-head to Moscow to present the iconic musical "The Phantom of the Opera" to a discerning audience in just one day. The mysterious producer of the production only appears in the theater through letters with demands, turning the process of creating the show into a real quest: each new condition proves to be more absurd than the last. When it becomes clear that the task is impossible, the heroes take a desperate step - to combine the best musicals from around the world into one show. Thus, a grand and completely unpredictable performance is born on stage. A kaleidoscope of two dozen Broadway hits in parody form and a cascade of funny situations come together to create an uplifting plot about how, despite chaos, deadlines, and crazy inputs, the team keeps their spirits up and moves toward their premiere. The same team worked on the new musical: director Anna Shevchuk, choreographer Irina Kashuba, set designer Maxim Obrezkov, and lighting designer Alexander Sivaev. It’s worth adding that the sequel to "Mamma Mia!" is a standalone story that can be enjoyed without knowing the original. However, there’s no guarantee that after "The Phantom of the Musical" you won’t want to find out what happened before!
