At the Vakhтангов Theatre Studio, a play based on the works of Andrei Platonov has been staged - a writer whose creativity does not fit into conventional frameworks. Exploring Platonov's work from a conventional literary perspective is very challenging. His works are imbued with a unique philosophical perception of reality. His stories, essentially parables, astonished many contemporaries with their deliberately "incorrect" stylistics, descriptions of settings and actions. For the play at the Vakhтангов Theatre, those stories of the writer were chosen in which the insatiable striving for life is expressed most clearly. The thematic core of the production became the story "The Unknown Flower." The authors of the play, following Platonov, sought to show that under any circumstances one must strive for the sun, even if someone wants to trample you. It is indeed worth increasing goodness in the world, even if it seems useless. See more plays on our website in the theatre section.
