The monologue "Dog" is a confessional statement from the streets, where the human and animal merge in the image of an abandoned dog. How often do we feel touched by dogs on the street - especially those with collars, well-groomed and happy? And how often do we turn away from the homeless - dirty, with glazed eyes, barking for no reason? The play "Dog" by the Open Studio Theater offers a perspective on the world through the eyes of such an "other" - not a cute puppy, but a street dog, despised and forgotten by all. At the heart of the play is Maria Zhuchenko's play "Kesha, or A Simple Dog's Life".
