The debut of Italian director Alberto Romano Cavecchi on the stage of the Electric Theatre. The play based on the chamber piece by August Strindberg was written for an "intimate theatre" that operated in Stockholm from 1907 to 1910. It is a story about a family locked in a house waiting for an inheritance. The characters - a mother and her two adult children - are sorting out their relationships, but this leads only to emptiness and a desire to disappear. The characters launch psychological attacks on each other, and every destructive action, as is known, requires atonement. The play and the performance remind us how important it is to treat each other humanely.
