An adventure novel transforms on stage into a coming-of-age story, where the main character must confront his own fears. Glimmering sails in the fog, the darkness of the ship's hold, shootouts and hand-to-hand combat - this harsh, yet fairy-tale action film gives no leniency to the one-legged or the blind. And rock ballads performed by pirates add even more romance to the unfolding events. However, the fantastic battles for treasure are also a real struggle of the young hero against his own fears. The creators return to Stevenson’s original novel, where what matters most is not the pursuit of treasure, but the journey the characters undergo and their internal transformations.
