A play based on the novel by Choderlos de Laclos in an exquisite and unusual format. It is not recommended to attend without having dinner. The theater guests will be transported to the atmosphere of the gallant 18th century in France. Powdered wigs, luxury and excess, sensual indulgences - all of this has become a pretext to talk about morality, permissiveness, and finally, happiness. External religiosity easily enters into a deal with conscience, the thirst for entertainment - into godlessness, while lightness, carefreeness, and beauty turn out to be a trap, subtly drawing the heroes into a world where all moral laws are abolished. How not to fall into it and is it possible to escape? For director Yegor Peregudov, it was important to ask questions rather than engage in moralizing. And the main one, as with de Laclos - "what is happiness?". Perhaps if people knew the answers, they would not seek it beyond all that is divine and human.
