A play based on the first novel by Viktor Pelevin - an absurd tragicomedy about life in illusions. Viktor Pelevin wrote his first book in the early 90s, when all dreams and hopes of Soviet people collapsed. The main character named Omon, nicknamed Ra, is an ordinary guy who learned to fly through imagination. Since childhood, he lived with dreams of the sky, and upon seeing an image of a cosmonaut on the VDNH mosaic, he decided that he needed to strive even higher, into space, where one can find complete freedom. Not believing in justice on earth, he wanted to soar above it. Mikhail Rakhlin's play is an absurd and somewhat fairy-tale story about how we create space in our own thoughts.
