A play by Ivan Popovski based on the fairy tale by Evgeny Schwartz. Schwartz's fairy tale, beloved by several generations thanks to the legendary film by Mark Zakharov, has come to life on the stage of his theatre. Ivan Popovski, a native of Macedonia and a student of Petr Fomenko, presented his take on the magical love story with transformations. Popovski has directed plays in theatres in France, Macedonia, and Russia, including a number of productions at the "Fomenko Workshop" stage. The set and costumes for the play were designed by Maria Tregubova. Nearly thirty artists from the Vakhtangov Theatre are involved in the production.
