A comedy with popular theater and film actors transports viewers to London, where a commotion has begun in one company. The main character, the director of the London branch of a multinational corporation, has a problem. His American boss is about to arrive in the British capital and may very well fire him. And it's not that the hero is not fulfilling his job duties, far from it. It's just that the boss is known for his strict moral principles and fires anyone who is not legally married. The main character suggests that his beloved play the role of his wife, but she has long been waiting for a real proposal of marriage from him and refuses to play this role. The secretary also cannot help him due to insurmountable circumstances. Only the housekeeper, who is almost twice his age, agrees to portray his spouse. And then the boss comes to visit, and it seems that everything is going according to plan, but suddenly both the friend and the secretary return, deciding to save the poor guy after all.
