The play based on Terry Johnson's play is the first production by Vladimir Mashkov as the artistic director of "Tabakerka". It shows how an accidental meeting turns into a conversation about influence, ambitions, and personal weaknesses. The action takes place in 1954 in New York. In a hotel, a famous Actress, a Baseball Player, a Senator, and a Professor meet. The author does not name his characters, but their prototypes are clear right away. Such a meeting is almost impossible, yet it becomes the starting point for a dialogue about power, reason, fame, and personal motives. Against the backdrop of the heroes' global fame, a private story unfolds, where the usual perceptions of the significance of things begin to change and acquire a different scale.
