A cozy apartment-style play based on texts from the notebooks of Sergey Dovlatov. Director Semyon Serzin first staged "The Invisible Book" based on Dovlatov at the "Day D" festival in 2016. The play turned out to be ironically and absurdly Dovlatov-like: an adaptation of a non-existent book by the cult writer from a non-existent theatrical group "Fильшты-КoZлы". The foundation of "The Invisible Book" is texts from Sergey Dovlatov's notebooks, united by a common motif, the slogan "Like it - return it!". The play is dedicated, first and foremost, to the Soviet period in the life of the brilliant storyteller, his relatives and enemies, reviewers, and fellow sufferers in the literary misfortune.
