A play based on Jean Anouilh's play "Romeo and Janetta" - about the choice between a troubled life filled with love and a calm life without love. Frederick arrives at the home of his fiancée Julia's parents, with whom he is about to marry. He meets his future relatives, and they all turn out to be completely foreign to him. All, except for... Julia's sister Janetta. And so, while listening to the jabs of the eternally tipsy father of the bride and the endless barbs of her brother, a misogynist, Frederick realizes that his life will never be the same again. Janetta - an extravagant girl, the complete opposite of her sister - seems destined for him, and he for her. But the choice is made, Frederick marries Julia. However, love cannot be deceived, and she too makes her choice, forever uniting two hearts. See more performances in St. Petersburg on our website in the theater section.
