A fantasy based on Rudyard Kipling's tale is performed by students of Ruslan Kudashov's workshop. In 2008, the play "Human Cub" premiered at the BPT, becoming a landmark for the theater. The students who performed in it now form the backbone of the BPT troupe and participated in creating the new production based on Kipling. The young performers of the play "We Are of One Blood", like their predecessors, began by observing animals and adopted Mikhail Chekhov's methodology. The concept of transformation, key to Chekhov, is particularly important for this play: Mowgli lives in a world of sensations, fluidity, and constant transformation from one form of life to another.
