Young choreographer, director, and artist Sergey Larionov has created a performance in which Chekhov's play is retold in the language of dance. Its text is integrated into the absurdism of Eugene Ionesco and is recounted in reverse order-from end to beginning. The directors saw Chekhov as a forerunner of modernism. The characters of the performance, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, find themselves with the Prozorovs and become characters in the play "Three Sisters." In a world completely devoid of will, where no one can take action, they set out to save the three sisters who are doomed.
