Today, Ivan Popovski is an internationally renowned director, having staged performances in the USA, France, Croatia, Macedonia, and has worked extensively with various troupes in Moscow, directing Prokofiev's opera "War and Peace" at the Bolshoi Theater. At the "Fomenko Workshop" Theater, his productions include "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by Shakespeare, nominated for the "Golden Mask" in 2016, "Rhinoceros" by Eugène Ionesco, and the children's super hit based on Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland." The chamber play "Molly Sweeney" is based on the play by Irish author Brian Friel. It is Friel's penultimate play, written in 1994. For more performances, visit our website in the theater section.
