A gripping story about the life of a small person in the world of animals. The play "Mowgli" was first staged in a puppet theater in 1945 based on a play by Nina Gernet, directed by Sergey Obraztsov and Viktor Gromov. The performance became the theater's calling card and was particularly successful with young audiences. In 1987, Vladimir Kusov revived the play in a new rendition with new scenery created by artist Vladimir Garbuzov. The diverse world of the wild forest is embodied through video projections: extraordinary lighting and images create the overall picture of the action. The puppets in this performance are almost entirely wild animals. There are wolves, tigers, snakes, panthers, bears, and jackals. In the world of the wild jungles, there are its own laws - and these laws are just. As in the whole world, this fairy tale has friendship, loyalty, wisdom, but also much injustice, betrayal, and deception.
