Konstantin Bogomolov made his debut on the Alexandrinsky stage, directing his own play inspired by Gorky's novel "Mother." For the production at the Alexandrinsky Theatre, Bogomolov brought in his regular team: set designer and costume designer Larisa Lomakina, video artist Alan Mandelstam, and lighting designer Ivan Vinogradov. Anna Nosova participated in writing the play; it is a completely independent work, only drawing from Gorky. Gorky created the novel "Mother" about the Russian Revolution in 1906, following the events occurring in the country. You can see even more performances on our website in the theatre section.
