A play based on the work of Nikolai Erdman, based on the author's notes and drafts. At the S.T.I., both of Erdman's plays - "Mandate" and "The Suicide" - are being performed. Having written them in the 1920s, Erdman forever entered the history of world literature. However, seeing both plays on the stage of one theater can probably only be done at S.T.I. The basis of the play "Mandate" is not the version of Vsevolod Meyerhold, but the drafts and notes of the playwright himself.
