The second fantasy play by Boris Pavlovich based on the novel by Richard Brautigan. A guy travels across America in search of the perfect fishing spot. But gradually it becomes clear that the trout is not so much a fish as an allegory for the beautiful fleeting moments of life. A rainbow trout can be a song from a forgotten movie, old worn-out photographs, or a girl walking towards you. In the morning, each of us goes fishing, and in the evening mentally lists the trout that got away. In Boris Pavlovich's play, the streams of Oregon resemble the corridors of communal apartments in St. Petersburg, but Brautigan's poetic text harmonizes beautifully with the genre of object theatre, whose essence is equally poetic.
