The theater becomes a gentle conversation about feelings that resonate differently for everyone. Neurodivergent actors transform the experience of an art laboratory into a stage exploration of emotions. Emotions often seem obvious: joy is recognized by a smile, anger by a sharp gesture, sadness by silence. But in reality, feelings are much more complex. The difference in perception becomes the foundation of a performance that grew out of a six-month laboratory of the studio "Sincere Art." Adults with mental disabilities worked with body practices and art therapy, explored their own reactions, learned to talk about complex issues in simple words, and found ways to cope with anxiety, sadness, and anger. Therefore, the stage action resembles a careful experiment: intonations, pauses, movement patterns, body plasticity, and the personal experiences of the participants are all important here. The production was created by director Ekaterina Yurkovа, and the visual solution was prepared by artist Mila Orlova. The laboratory will also serve as the basis for a book where actors and artists will share their perspectives on emotions. Find other events in Yekaterinburg on KudaGo.
