A play by Sergey Zhenovach based on Gogol's play "The Government Inspector." Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol himself believed that laughter is a great force, and since it is so great, it should not be wasted. According to his own words, he gathered all the worst things in one play - and one should laugh at them all at once. Thus, "The Government Inspector" was born. Together with Sergey Zhenovach, the play based on the immortal comedy was created by the theater's permanent creative team - set designer Alexander Borovsky, composer Grigory Gobernik, and lighting designer Damir Ismagilov.
