About

A classic from the 1960s directed by Denis Chashin. The play by three-time Pulitzer Prize winner Edward Albee is a psychological drama dedicated to family relationships. In the 1960s, it "exploded" Broadway and remains one of the most sought-after plays of American classics. The issues raised in it are not as relevant today as they were then. A respectable professor couple, George and Martha, have guests - a young couple, Nick and Honey. However, the guests did not expect to witness repulsive family disputes. The characters of the play try to revive their feelings but act like porcupines, hurting each other with their quills as they get closer. What happens crosses all boundaries and forces each character to dive into their own existential experiences. See more performances on our website in the theater section.
