A fairy tale with sand animation and jazz accompaniment will transport young viewers to a land of New Year wonders. The performance-concert for the youngest audience will combine Hoffmann's fairy tale and Tchaikovsky's music in a jazz arrangement. The performance is led by the project's author, Irina Chizhik, who will read the tale of The Nutcracker. The music will be performed by Alexey Chizhik (vibraphone and piano) and double bassist Oleg Fomin. Live sand illustrations will be created by Yulia Labutina. Children will participate in the events, moving and playing. After the performance, everyone interested will be able to draw with sand, get acquainted with the vibraphone, and take part in an orchestra of percussion instruments.
