A puppet production about the wonderful adventures of Ivan the Fool and the Humpbacked Horse, where the audience will encounter many surprises: for example, a 4-meter-long Whale Fish that can shoot a fountain, as well as living decorations and tricks. The production was created by director E. Rubanovskaya and producer V. Berkutov - honored artists of Russia. For this puppet show based on the famous tale by Ershov, the creators devised real puppet wonders. To make the performance truly magical, transforming decorations were made: the village instantly turns into royal chambers or the shore of the sea-ocean (the author of the stage project is B. Kirkin, the artist is E. Shakhotko). The Whale Fish will also amaze the audience: the length of the whale with a village on its back reaches 4 meters, from its back the whale can shoot a fountain, and from its mouth emerge ships it once swallowed. The puppet characters belong to the style of Russian lubok, which also makes the production unusual and colorful. The performance also includes musical elements: the audience will hear music by composer A. Blok. In Ershov's tale, the Humpbacked Horse is the magical helper of Ivan the Fool, constantly rescuing him from trouble. Despite the unremarkable appearance of the Horse, it is he - not his two beautiful horse-brothers - who is Ivan's faithful friend. The heroes are in for exciting adventures filled with magic and wonders, and thanks to the wisdom of the Humpbacked Horse, all of them end happily.
