On stage, the last days of Maria Callas's life are brought to life. The lead role is played by Sati Spivakova. Maria Callas gave up her career for the sake of a loved one, thus betraying God within herself. This is how the director of the play, Dmitry Serdyuk, sees it. As a result, the opera diva, who was applauded by the whole world, loses both her voice and her beloved Aristotle Onassis. This production is a reflection on how the refusal of a gift leads to the collapse of everything: life, career, love. In addition to Sati Spivakova, there are only four actors in the play, their characters are people who saw Maria in her last days. She herself was in deep depression and feared her own reflection. Following the main character, the audience is transported to a kind of mirror world, where Callas supposedly rehearses an opera, and those around her, pitying her, play along. The basis of the play is the play by Maria Vardenko "Canary." The theater poster of Moscow is presented on KUDAGO.
