A family-friendly play based on the prose of Dina Sabitova, directed by Yana Tumina. Director Yana Tumina is working for the first time with the actors of the Small Theatre. The play is based on Dina Sabitova's story about loneliness, home, and family. Her characters are orphaned children, and this theme is close to the writer personally, as she herself raised an adopted teenager. Critics compare Sabitova's story to works in the spirit of Salinger and Harper Lee, honest tales of difficult childhoods where there is always room for light and hope. The scenography of the play was created by one of the leading theatrical artists in the country, Emil Kapelyush. You can find even more plays in St. Petersburg on our website in the theatre section.
