"Five Corners" is a legendary intersection formed by the streets of Rubinstein, Lomonosov, Razyezzhaya, and Zagorodny Prospect, a kind of nerve center of Petersburg. Anyone who arrives here feels as if they have come to a fork in the road of fairy tales. Next to this mystical place, outstanding individuals have lived at different times, including Sergey Dovlatov. This was also the title of his unpublished novel. This production is an attempt to reflect the breath of time and the world of Dovlatov's heroes. On stage, the city of Leningrad, so beloved by the writer and unattainable for him during his years of emigration, is briefly revived. The action of the play, like a mosaic, is composed of letters from different years, poems, and prose by Dovlatov. Additionally, the audience will hear the voice of the writer himself.
