A play based on the work of Grigory Gorin, which is rooted in the events of the life and work of Jonathan Swift. Legends about this enigmatic man still circulate, and the truth about him intertwines with fiction. At the center of the production by director Natalia Nikitina is the English writer from the turn of the 17th-18th centuries, a mysterious figure, the creator of the famous "Gulliver's Travels", a master of uncompromising satire, who served as a priest all his life and was declared insane shortly before his death. Swift bequeaths all his fortune and home to the insane... and that is what the play will be about. In the writer's house, characters from his works inhabit: this is the realm of yahoo and lilliputians, giants and houyhnhnms. The real and the fantastic are intertwined in such a way that it is impossible to draw a line between them. Objects undergo amazing metamorphoses, as if obeying the genius imagination of the house's owner. To cure Swift of his ailment, a psychiatrist is hired. And Dr. Simpson, along with the audience, becomes a witness to the incredible, absurd, funny, and tragic events that will take place in this house and reveal the inner world of the lonely genius.
