The adaptation was prepared by the writer's daughter - screenwriter and playwright Ksenia Dragunskaya. "Deniska's Stories" is a whole world of sincere, simple, funny, and at the same time instructive tales. The audience of the play will be able to meet the grown-up hero of these stories. The premiere of the play took place in 2012 and was dedicated to the centenary of the legendary children's writer. The adaptation of the literary work for the theatrical stage was done by the author's daughter, screenwriter and playwright Ksenia Dragunskaya. The production was carried out by the talented young director Ekaterina Maximova. Irresponsible joking is intended to answer the question: "Why are adults more important than children?". To change this universal injustice, the play reminds us that once we were all small, and many still have a child living within them.
