Slovenian director Tomaž Janič presents a play based on the book by the famous Austrian psychologist Viktor Frankl, "Saying 'YES' to Life". Psychologist and founder of existential psychoanalysis Viktor Frankl spent three years in fascist death camps. He not only managed to survive but also saved many prisoners. He helped people overcome despair and find meaning in life under conditions that seemed potentially impossible. He reflected his experience in the book "Saying 'YES' to Life", completed in 1945 after his liberation from the concentration camp. This work became his first book, and he wrote more than 30 in total. A key feature of Viktor Frankl's method is to find meaning in everything, even in terrible life situations, and thanks to this, continue to live. The play was directed by Slovenian director Tomaž Janič, who is considered one of the leading European masters. The production brought together BDT artists from different generations.
