Director Serafima Nizovskaya and the actresses of the Electric Theater have created a play based on the works and stories of Anton Chekhov. The idea to create a play about Chekhov and about themselves was born during online improvisations during the pandemic. The proposal by Serafima Nizovskaya was accepted by the theater actresses, who chose their favorite Chekhov fragments for the production. Chekhov resonates even more sharply today than when he wrote, and the performers feel the bitterness... But at the same time, it is an opportunity to tell something personal and find in his works what is close to us today. The composition is complemented by choreography and music, creating a cohesive stage canvas. You can find more plays on our website in the theater section.
