A play by Lev Dodin based on his own adaptation of Dostoevsky. One of the main premieres of the challenging year 2020 at MDT - a play by the artistic director of the theater, Lev Dodin, based on Dostoevsky's novel. The play is staged on the Main Stage, although in terms of the number of performers, it can be called chamber: there are only seven characters. The roles are performed by the leading artists of the troupe, including Igor Ivanov, Igor Chernevich, and Elizaveta Boyarskaya. The visual design of the play was created by the chief scenographer of MDT, David Borovsky, and one of the best lighting designers in the country, Damir Ismagilov.
