The story of a madman and a genius in the modern interpretation of playwright Valery Pecheikin and director Hugo Erikssen. If you ask someone on the street what comes to mind when they hear the name of this great composer, the answer will likely be disheartening. They will probably say that Beethoven is something old, boring, deserving of a place on a dusty shelf in a museum of musical antiques. This production by Hugo Erikssen was created to dismantle such myths. On the stage of the "Praktika" Theater, the spirit of the era of the famous creator and the image of the genius himself will be recreated, in which a madman, a blind man, a person of passion and unquenchable energy, an amazing creator, are intricately intertwined. Beethoven's biography touches on all the main themes of our everyday life: there is room for love, death, creativity, God, heroism, and homeland.
