Famous works by the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg will be performed by violin and organ. The concert program will feature Edvard Grieg's suite for Henrik Ibsen's drama "Peer Gynt". The play "Peer Gynt" is a story about the rebirth of the soul. The main character wanders and goes through the most incredible trials, but ultimately returns home, where his loving Solveig awaits him. Thanks to her love, Peer finds meaning in life and faith in himself once again. The fantastic images of the play are known to many from Edvard Grieg's orchestral suite of the same name. The composer wrote the music for the drama of his compatriot Ibsen and then reworked it into a standalone piece. Today, the suite exists in various arrangements and adaptations. The program will be performed by Evdokiya Ionina (violin) and Anna Suslova (organ). Live illustrations in sand will be created by Anna Ivanova. To learn more details, click the "Buy Ticket" button.
